With a projected 0.8 goals for Gladbach and 1.34 for Augsburg, the combined expected value is only around 2.1 goals, well below the three-goal mark. Tip 2: FC Cologne - Heidenheim

A relegation thriller in Cologne! Cologne boasts a series of close but strong performances – including the 2-2 draw at Union Berlin, the 3-1 victory against Bremen, and several matches with at least a point. Heidenheim, on the other hand, is stuck at the bottom of the table after just five wins this season and inconsistent results, repeatedly dropping points. The model clearly favors the visitors: a 65.50 percent chance of victory for Cologne, while Heidenheim only manages a 13.20 percent. The expected goals also give Cologne a significant advantage – 1.99 projected goals compared to just 0.8 for the visitors. Cologne is projected to have almost twelve shots and nearly 4.5 shots on target, while Heidenheim's attack is noticeably weaker. Since the internal pricing actually places Cologne at -189, but the market is still offering -120, the following value bet is tempting: Cologne to win at odds of -120 with FanDuel Sportsbook.

Tip 3: Liverpool - Chelsea

Anfield is gearing up for another Premier League blockbuster, but the signs point more towards a tactical chess game than a goal fest. Chelsea arrive with a losing streak and a 1-3 home defeat against Nottingham, having managed just one win in their last five league matches.

Liverpool recently suffered a 2-3 loss at Manchester United, but have generally put in controlled performances, averaging just over two goals per game. Despite the big names involved, in four of the last five head-to-head encounters, at least one side failed to score or the total goals remained below four. The model sets the fair total at just 2.5 goals, a full goal below the current total of 3 to 3.5 – a clear under-scoring signal. With a projected 1.1 goals for Chelsea and 1.39 for Liverpool, the overall expectation is only around 2.5 goals, well below the 3.5 mark.
